Apple’s iMac Pro, the most powerful Mac ever, will be available to order starting December 14, 2017 in the US. The iMac Pro gets the first major specification bump to Apple’s all-in-one desktop computer in nearly two years. The iMac lineup was last updated in October 2015 and updated Pro model will serve as a replacement for existing users.

The iMac Pro features a design similar to existing 27-inch iMac, but now comes in new space gray enclosure. The iMac Pro is Apple’s answer to the workstation-class desktop for creative professionals working with demanding workflows. There is an option to upgrade to Vega 64 GPU with 16GB video memory, which should be ideal for handling tasks like real-time 3D rendering and editing 8K Pro videos.
